National UN Volunteers

National UN Volunteers serve in their own country within a UN organization.

Would you like to contribute to Nepal and work with others like yourself who have a desire to accelerate Nepal’s development? As a national UN Volunteer serving with a United Nations agency you will make a positive impact on your homeland while working alongside people from around the world, including international volunteers and other United Nations professionals.

Requirements:

The minimum requirements to become a National UN volunteer in Nepal are as follows:

• Nepal National
• At least 22 years of age
• Academic Credentials – at least a Bachelor’s degree
• Well-qualified and suitable older candidates can serve as National UN Volunteers up to an age covered by the life insurance carrier
